USJ, one of the best amusement parks in Osaka

USJ, or Universal Studios Japan, is a fantastic theme park with plenty of attractions and delicious food. The character merchandise is adorable, and the rides are incredibly realistic. It is one of the best amusement parks in Osaka, but it can get quite crowded. However, I will let you know the best time to visit and which attractions I recommend. Get ready to experience the thrill of USJ!

The Best Times to Visit USJ: How to Enjoy the Park Without the Crowds

First, I’ll tell you the best times to visit USJ when the park is less crowded. If you want to avoid long wait times of over an hour for attractions, I recommend going on normal school days when it’s not during the summer or spring break. The weekends tend to be busier, and holidays can result in wait times of over 100 minutes, so I highly advise against going on those days.
I suggest going on a regular weekday when people are typically going to work or school. If it’s raining or during the pandemic, the park may be less crowded, but keep in mind that you’ll need to wear a raincoat or carry an umbrella along with your mask. As for the best time of day to go, I recommend arriving in the morning before the park’s official opening time since it often opens earlier than stated on the website.

In addition, you can purchase an Express Pass to access attractions without waiting in line. However, Express Passes also sell out early, so buy them as soon as possible!

Spy×Family Game at USJ: Fun for All Ages

Next, let me introduce some attractions that I recommend. One of them is the Spy×Family mystery solving game. The Spy Family is a limited-time attraction that runs through July 2, 2023. In this game, visitors receive a top-secret file from the Spy Family corner and have to find clues to eventually discover the secret word. If you are a fan of Spy×Family, I highly recommend trying it. Although it may seem like a game for children and appear to be easy, it is actually quite challenging. Even adults usually take at least an hour to complete it. We too had a lot of trouble solving the mystery! After successfully discovering the secret word, you will get to see a show of Spy×Family.

For a limited time, Finnegan’s Bar & Grill restaurant in the New York area offers a menu in collaboration with the Spy×Family. The beef stew in the photo was excellent! Anya’s strawberry milk was also very good!

Savor the flavors of Harry Potter-themed cuisine at USJ

For restaurants, I highly recommend visiting the world of Harry Potter. There are many restaurants serving delicious foods for everyone. One option is the Three Broomsticks, where you can choose from a variety of menus. I suggest trying the Rotisserie Smoked Chicken and Shepherd’s Pie plate, which includes corn and chicken, along with a mouth-watering pie filled with meatballs and mashed potatoes. Both the chicken and corn have an excellent aroma. Additionally, you can order a cup of butterbeer at this shop if you want to give it a try.

Experience the Excitement of Nintendo Mario World at USJ

Another option I highly recommend is visiting Mario World, which features two exciting attractions: Yoshi’s Adventure and Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge. Both are enjoyable rides, although they differ in terms of excitement level. Yoshi’s Adventure is a calming ride that offers stunning views of the realistic Mario World, allowing visitors to take amazing pictures. On the other hand, Mario Kart is a thrilling ride where visitors can hop on karts and race on the tracks, offering an adrenaline rush that is hard to forget.

This area is very popular and you must get a numbered ticket to enter. Purchase an Express Pass or enter early in the morning to get numbered tickets through the application!
